OK, let’s be real…y’all know me by now…you know I don’t do the dessert thang very often…
But when I do, I like to get real down and dirty with it!!! These open faced ice-cream s’mores are holy moly good.
There are so many textures and mouth feels going on here…crunchy graham cracker, creamy and cold ice cream, toasty marshmallow AND caramel sauce with sea salt?!
It’s a whole lotta yaaaaas.
Open Faced Ice Cream S’more
1 carton mint chocolate chip ice cream (can substitute)
1 box Graham Crackers
Bag of Marshmallows
1-2 bars of Hershey chocolate
Pinch of Maldon Sea Salt
Layer graham crackers with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Then layer with a toasty marshmallow. You can warm these with a torch or place marshmallows under the broiler for a few seconds and then place them on top of the ice cream. Drizzle caramel or chocolate sauce over each one for another level of decadence.
