Sometimes I love to get my hands dirty…and nothing satisfies that craving quite like Peel n’ Eat Shrimp! By having to peel each shrimp, you are forced to slow down… take your time and chillll. After all, that is what a great summer meal is all about anyway…
Plus, these babies are buttery and spicy and delish…all of my favorite things!

Prep time: 2-5 mins
Cook time: 20 mins
1-2 lbs of large shrimp, skins on
6 tbsp of butter
Pinch of Cayenne
1 lemon, sliced in to wedges
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Scatter shrimp across a baking sheet. Shower seasoning, to taste, across all the shrimp. You can be heavy handed here, when you peel the skins off, you will also peel most of the seasoning! Slice stick of butter in to pads and place across shrimp. Bake for 10 mins. Flip shrimp over and bake another 6-10 mins or until shrimp is pink and no longer grey. Garnish with lemon. Peel shells and tails before eating.
