
What a wonderful holiday, and on a Saturday no less! I love peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and think they 100 % deserve their own special day…
So cheers to you PB&J…for getting your own National day…I truly like you lots of different ways…ok, I’ll stop rhyming.

Truthfully, I do though. I love a plain pb&j, but I love it with banana…I also love it with honey…but, drumroll please…have you tried it with bacon??
I love a sweet and salty combo and a PB&J+B captures that perfectly…

Cook Time: 10 mins
3 pieces sourdough bread
3-5 slices of bacon
Peanut Butter
Jelly (I used Black Currant)
1-2 tbsp Butter for toasting the bread
Cook bacon in a skillet and place on paper towel to drain excess oil. Layer Bacon in to the peanut butter & jelly. Butter outer sides of the bread and place in hot skillet (like you would a grilled cheese) to toast the bread.
