Easy Easter Eggs

Tie Dye & Blue Gold Foil Eggs

Hi friends! I can’t believe it has been almost two weeks since my last post! I have been busy working on a new movie…my first movie after having Ryan, and boy oh boy, is life different now! There is no sleeping in after a night shoot, and lots of time away…

It wasn’t easy but I think it was good for both of us. Luckily, I got to see her almost everyday…even for just a short time. But I did see some really wonderful changes in both of us. I got to feel like the old “me” again which was kind of nice. It felt good to know that the person I have been for the last 30 years was still in there and I wasn’t just “Ryan’s mom”…and I watched her become very independent! She is already a very spirited little thing, but she truly blossomed.

I’m not going to lie, the selfish part of me was heartbroken over it…but to watch her be happy everyday and to go to her little music class and the park and continue on with her normal schedule without me actually made me very proud. It made me feel like we must have done something right!

It certainly does feel good to be home though…and of course, I am back to blogging! I felt like it was time to get in to the Easter spirit…soooo

Natural Eggs with White Paint Pen Designs

Today, we made Easter eggs! I will tell you…the first time I made eggs (10-12yrs ago) I didn’t know you had to hard-boil them first! YIKES!! So, um…make sure you DO THAT!

I love these super simple paint pen eggs! If you are like me and don’t want the mess or hassle of dye or paint…these are perfect for you and totally budget friendly too! All you need is a paint pen…or do a black version with just a sharpie!
