Hello, Classic! A whole year can go by and it won’t cross my mind to roast carrots! But come Thanksgiving…and they are high on my list! I love doing a big plate of carrots with fresh sage and a healthy dose of flavor!
I smother these babies with nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and garlic salt! I love how the sugars tend to caramelize.
Don’t let this simple side dish fool you…it is easy to make and not to be missed!
What you need:
Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, Garlic Salt
Clean the carrots and drizzle with olive oil. Adjust the seasoning to taste…but don’t be scared to go over the top with them! The more the better!
Roast the carrots for 30-45 minutes depending on the thickness of the carrots! 450 degrees!
