Recently I went to Aventine for dinner. Tucked away in the heart of Hollywood, Aventine is a gem in an area mostly filled with tourists, dive bars and fast food restaurants. A large beautiful outdoor patio makes it such a pleasure to eat there.
What to order:
Grilled octopus with Dijon Potato salad
Truffle honey, bechamel and arugula pizza (Tartufo – black truffle honey, creamy béchamel, wild arugula
Aventino – Meatball stuffed with mozzarella, basil pesto, golden raisins, soft polenta.
Any of the pizzas!
What to know…this restaurant fills up quick and is not helpful in “squeezing” you in! Make sure you make a reservation!
