There are few things I love more than the aroma of truffles. I’m obsessed, and if you read my blog on a regular basis then I am sure you already know this about me. You also probably know by now that I can’t bake. It is something I have just come to feel ok about.
On those rare occasions when I need something buttery and pastry like, I buy phyllo sheets and make savory tarts. They are easy, delish and the flavor combinations are endless.
Asparagus
Goat cheese
Mushrooms
Phyllo sheets
Olive Oil
Truffle Oil
Sea Salt & Crushed Red Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Layer phyllo sheets, painting a thin layer of olive oil between each sheet. Fill the center with goat cheese and veggies of choice. Shower each tart with sea salt, crushed red pepper and a drizzle of truffle oil. Roll the sides of the phyllo to make a little bed for the cheese and veggies. Bake for approx 12 minutes or until golden.
