E.S.K…the fried egg.


Ahh…another E.S.K…another egg!



Don’t know how to fry and egg, or even how you like them. It can get confusing, there are lots of choices out there… scrambled, fried, hard-boiled….What’s a girl to do?

Fried eggs are what we are doing today…over-easy… over -medium….or even over-well. (again with the confusion!)   Have no fear E.S.K. is here!



What you need:

– a medium size skillet

– organic eggs

-non stick spray like PAM or 1 tablespoon of butter



How to:

Heat skillet to medium or medium/low heat pour out any excess oil or butter

Gently crack the egg and SLOWLY place the egg in to the center of skillet, it should be bubbling when the egg hits the pan, keep it on medium till it starts to crackle a big, with a spatula gently (if your trying to preserve your yolk without cracking it) flip your egg over and let sizzle for a few more seconds.

I like my eggs “fried over- easy”                                                                                                    (that means the yolk is still runny, great to dip your toast in!)

Nick (my boyfriend) likes his eggs fried over -well                                                                  (that means the yolk is cooked all the way through)

Hilary (my seester) likes her’s over- medium                                                                           (thats where the yolk is still soft but not runny)
