Tonight was one of those nights that I just didn’t feel like cooking. I should tell you, Nick (the best boyfriend, RGK taste tester, photography teacher, etc..) loves to eat cereal for dinner. I don’t get it. A bowl of cereal in the evening hours just doesn’t satisfy my dinner feelings, but after the breakfast I made this morning I was all too happy to oblige his cereal needs. That’s when it hit me.
When it comes to cereal, I’m a 6 year old little girl…who has to wait exactly 7 minutes for her Capn’ Crunch to get soggy.
You know what I’m talking about. Your dying to take a bite of the sugary goodness, but if you don’t wait it out a few minutes…Capn’ crunch will tear your mouth up! Like, for real, the roof of your mouth won’t be back to normal till the next day. So, tonight that’s what I did. I poured my bowl, topped it with super chilly milk, and waited it out. Like any good Capn’ Crunch eater would do…
