The Holy 9.


So I know this post is similar to the pretty in pink oatmeal smoothie, but bear with me. I keep finding new combos and new ways to get adequate protein into your diet and is perfect for post workout or a bright and sunny way to start your day.

This smoothie contains 9 grams of fiber, 9 grams of protein and 9 ingredients. Here is the even better thing about 9…it represents all sorts of great things like harmony, patience, meditation and even inventiveness and balance. So go ahead and get your 9 on.

What You Need:
Tofu (approx 2 inch thick slice)
cup of raspberries
cup of strawberries
tablespoon of fresh ginger (optional)
2 tablespoons of GROUND flax seeds
one pear (an apple would work in its place)
two tablespoons agave nectar
1/4 cup pomegranate juice (optional)
1 cup filtered or bottled water
