I love these little "heirloom uglies"

This salad is inspired by a great Panzanella salad I had a couple of nights ago, but with my own little twists. You too can add or bail on any ingredients you don’t like. For me, I hate crunchy onions, but love their flavor, so I cut the onion in big pieces so you can easily pick around them. Perfect for any vegetarians!

What you need:
Heirloom tomatoes
cucumbers
some crusty bread (day old and torn into pieces is best)
capers
purple onion
basil
arugula
artichoke hearts
avocado
one cup of cooked orzo
a couple teaspoons of red wine vinaigarette
squeeze of lemon
salt and pepper!

Mix it up and enjoy! xo Haylie
