What a happy July 4th…

Part of the 4th of July crew...

What a fun 4th of July! We had a revolving door of friends throughout the day, offensive amounts of delicious food, great music (thanks to my friend Jimmy), competitive games of cornhole , lots of laughter, dogs running around and blankets for lounging in the grass. It was a great afternoon to be an American. I ended my day by crawling up on to my roof with my friend Aimee and watching the firework show from Universal Studios. I hope everyone’s 4th of July was happy and safe. Can’t wait for next year!

Caprese skewers to snack on before the grill got going…

Now, for the food…we made grapefruit margaritas, a kale salad, jalapeno & pineapple coleslaw, buffalo chicken salad, Tuna salad in cucumber cups, a fruit flag, watermelon, caprese skewers, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, deviled eggs, grilled mexican corn, potato salad, ribs and lobster tails…

Ryan, our grill master for the day...

My girl Dunia’s fruit flag…inspired by pinterest.

Hickory Ribs and Mexican Corn on the grill…

Doesn’t this look like a Ralph Lauren ad?

Here’s to another year, can’t wait for the next one.

No offense, but no– it looks like a bunch of neighbors, in suburbia, celebrating fourth of July in a photo taken in harsh lighting on an iPhone
